This section contains rhythm primers, (good for all instruments), pitch identification for treble and bass clefs,  and a circle of 4ths progression worksheet.

For the advancing student,  there is an in depth study of triads and seventh chords.

Lastly, the two progression worksheets give practice in both closed and open positions.

This section contains three fill worksheets, two of which can also be used as accent exercises.

The play-a-longs are written out charts that can be played with original studio recordings easily found on YouTube.

Many other beats can be found here, including the most common Latin-American grooves.

This section contains five chapters that are invaluable to the concert snare drummer.

Boxes is a collection of all combinations from 3 to 7 note groups; with stickings of singles, doubles, and triples.

The roll/rhythm primer takes the student from easy to complex rhythms, the skeletal foundations of concert rolls.

The roll speed worker considers all speeds and dynamics.

The soft roll sheets contain novel and effective practice  routines while the three beat worker isolates each stroke for a perfect roll.

I Wanna Play Drums, a book I wrote in 2000, is a collection of beats, fills, snare drum reading and rudiments. Some of the beats  have play-a-long tracks. This book is great for beginners and intermediate level drummers. It's also a great review for those getting back into drumming.
